The Challenge
The primary challenge was integrating the structure into the steep terrain without disrupting the natural topography. We utilized cantilevered volumes to minimize the footprint and preserve existing trees.
Design Approach
Our approach focused on honest materials — exposed concrete, natural stone, and warm timber — creating a tactile experience that ages gracefully with the environment.
